Mini Moves Meals

Recipe Book

A combination of a healthy diet and regular exercise is essential in achieving the following goals for your child:

  • Weight and body fat management
  • Prevention of obesity
  • Prevention of Type II Diabetes
  • Prevention of cardiovascular disease
  • Sufficient energy for sport performance
  • Higher concentration levels
  • Greater mental performance
  • Optimum growth and development
  • Social benefits
  • Greater motivation

Typically, children eat three meals a day. Often you as a parent can control what children eat at these meal times. However, more often than not it is what a child eats between meals that can really make a difference to their health. Too often children and adults reach for fast options; chips, chocolate, biscuits and cakes. A piece of fruit sometimes seems boring and insufficient.

The Mini Meals recipe book contains over 40 fun, themed snack recipes you can make with your children

Christmas Indulgences–

The Festive season is a time for celebration and with this comes plenty of occasions for both dining out as well as at home.  To ensure that children don’t overindulge but still enjoy the foods that the Christmas Holidays has to offer, ensure that you provide nutritious meals and snacks instead of just living off the ‘left-overs’ from Christmas which may include many high calorie and non-nutritious options.  You can also get the children to help prepare their own Christmas treats which will limit the high fat chocolates, chips and puddings that are usually on offer at this time of year.
